We went hiking at First Landing State Park. We hiked a little over three miles through a bald cypress forest. It was really cool looking with all the spanish moss dangling from the trees. In the water we saw a huge snapping turtle. Poor Peter fell asleep in his pack during our hike. If we'd gone right after his first nap it would have been a perfect length. The park has even longer trails and some shorter ones too. We would recommend the park. It also has shaded bike trails.
