It was extreemly hot during our beach trip this year. We had to stay inside during most afternoons. The babies didn't mind. They hung-out in their diapers. After dinner they would float and play in the pool to pass the time until bed.
Peter loved the beach, when we did go down to the water front. He loved it so much he wanted to eat it. We gave him a bucket of water to rinse his hands. This reduced the amount of sand consumed, but didn't stop it. Now he could lick the salt water from his hands instead, yummy.
