Potty Story

Okay, so we're trying to potty train Peter, but it isn't working too well. He does sit on the potty, however, nothing has come out yet. Normally, Marie watches while we go through the routine with Peter. Tonight after Marie got out of the bath she wanted to sit on the potty. She was squealing at me and reaching for it so I set her on Peter's potty. Once on it, she put her hand down to push her pee-pee down like Peter does. But, she didn't have one, which confused her for a second, so she just gave herself a tap or two. She looked very focused for a moment then I said to her, "Yeah, Marie goes pee-pee on the potty." She was so happy with herself she began to clap. She didn't pee of course. Although, if this keeps up Marie and Peter might be potty trained together.
