Everything went well this morning for Marie. We got there at 7:30. She went in for surgery at 8:30. She was out by 9:00. And we were headed home by 9:30. The only thing was she was pretty upset coming out of the anesthesia, but that is to be expected. She stopped crying once we got out to the car. She slept the entire car ride home. At home she didn't want to go to Daddy at first, but then she started eating and drinking, which cheered her right up. We let her eat a half of a bag of gold fish and drink juice. She was in heaven.
The doctor did tell me that Marie's ears looked pretty bad for her age. He said they must have had fluid in them for quite awhile because the ear drum was very stretched/thin. He also said because of this he had to use a smaller tube, which naturally falls out sooner, so she might need tubes again. We will see how her recovery goes.

Hooray for long naps! It's so sad to see such little things suffering...I hope the tubes make a big difference for both of you!
I sure hope things get better from here on out for you guys.
