We went Missouri for the weekend. Steve's sister Kelly lives there on a "Ranch'. She just had a baby boy in February so we were there for the blessing. We got to their house at 11am Friday. Brody, who's 5, but could be 25 when it come to ranching, took us on an outside tour when we arrived. After that the kids played for awhile on the swing set and other toys. Then Brody got out his four wheeler. We pretty much four wheeled the rest of the day. Brody took Peter everywhere on it. All over the "back 20," which refers to the 20 acres behind the house. Peter did get to have a few driving lessons on Brody's four wheeler, which Peter loved.
Marie, Brooke, and Thomas swinging way.
Grandpa arrived about 2pm on Friday and joined in the four wheeling fun.
Who knew it seated five.
Peter feeding the bulls their breakfast Saturday morning.
Peter petting Peter the Bull. Brody named him after cousin Peter.
After watching the Kentucky Derby on Saturday we went outside to ride Ranger, Brody's horse.
Surprisingly to me the kids loved riding. Usually they are so afraid of animals.
Ranger is a nice easy horse that likes to stop and eat the clover.
Thomas loved his rides on "neigh" has he called it.
Sadly to say that was our last day there. Flights were over sold on Sunday afternoon to we had to leave before dawn to catch the earliest flight out of St. Louis. We ended up missing the blessing, but we were happy we went anyways. The cousins got to play and we all got to see baby Cooper. I never got a picture of him, but he is such a good baby. Their family dynamic is like ours so like me Kelly needed a nice happy baby boy as her third child.

How fun to be there with the farm animals. And how sweet to see them on the horse.
