Marie had her gymnastic's end of the year performance on May 15th. Even though she had a broken arm she did as much of the routine as she could. She showed "great perseverance and character," as my friend Carrie said. We were so proud of her. It was an evening performance so Tom and Joe were exhausted by the end of it.
Marie also has been writing a lot in school. They are talking about fairy tails and how there are several versions to many of the classics. Marie is writing her version of the Three Little Pigs, which has always been her favorite. So far she has 23 pages written. I think we may have a novelist. I love her spelling. This is definitely a book that needs to be read out loud.
