Go Mommy

Each year in our town they have a Daffodil Festival. This year Steve and I ran the 5k . Steve got first in his age group with a time of 19:52. My time was 28:44. I didn't place, but Steve said he thinks I was the only mommy in my age group. I said in return, "Thanks honey, I feel much better now knowing that." It was nice having Steve and the kids cheer me on when I came in. Plus, other people in the crowd joined them in shouting, "Go Mommy!"
