FHE with the Groo's

FHE stands for family home evening. Every Monday night we try to make our family night. We have a song, lesson, game/activity and treat. The kids love it! A couple Mondays ago we were up visiting Steve's parents and sister. Steve thought it would be a good idea to bring the kids to his grandparents' graves. Steve gave nice (but short) lesson on the importance of knowing our ancestors. The kids got to put a flower in Grandpa Roland's vase afterwards. Dotty's (aka Goo Goo) stone has not been laid yet. Once we were done we headed over to DQ for dipped cones. Marie and Peter were in a hevean of their own with those.
If you couldn't guess by the inscription Grandpa Roland was a pilot too.

Spencer placing his.
