Summer Fun

Now that all of our vacationing is over we've been having fun close to home. About a week ago my friend Jenny called me up and said she was driving to our area that day. She asked if we could go the beach with them. Since our schedule is oh so busy I said "of couse we can!" The kids had a blast spashing in the water and building sand sculptures.

Oooo that was a big one!

Sometimes we get pretty bored around here. So bored that Marie petends she's an elephant to entertain herself as well as us.

We went with Alex, Peter's good friend who just moved away. :(

Marie and her new boy friend Davis. Davis was a missionary in our area 2 years ago. He came back to visit a week or two ago. Marie was always having Davis play with her.

We went to pirate themed birthday party at the beginning of Aug.

Both the kids had a good time petending to be pirates. They had "cannon" ball battles and made swords. Very cool!
