We (Steve) cut our own tree down this year at a local farm. My sister's family does this and I've always wanted to. They have their kids pick the tree. We tried that, but we found that Peter and Marie have bad taste in trees. Picture Charlie Brown's tree. 
Peter was a great helper
Marie, on the other hand, was not.
She didn't like all the walking, which is the story of her life. She has coined the phase, "Carry Me!" It really wasn't that long of a walk.

Im not loving our fake tree...but I like that I can bend the needles to make ornaments hang just right!
