thomas' progress

Thomas is still a very happy boy. He doesn't like his crib though. He wants out as soon as he wakes up. Lately Peter and Marie think it's fun to climb in. Thomas wants to play with them, but he doesn't want in.

Thomas has been able to walk since the day after he turn 10 months old. He has gotten quite good at it. It makes playing outside so much better. Yesterday while we were on the deck he walked backwards for nearly four feet before walking into a wall. He didn't even fall down. He was even giggling as he was trying to get away from me. He did it again while playing with a friend today.

Aunt Janine cut Thomas' mullet off on March 26th.

He has also become a self feeder, in other words he grabs the spoon from me and screams. This is bad and good. It's hard to find things that he likes and can easily feed himself, but when I do I can eat when he eats. There's also a big mess to pick up once we're done.

Thomas is learning to pick up too. He is now putting things back into their containers. For example I'll give him a puff and he'll put it back into the canister, take it out again, and then eat it. He's such a silly boy.

A few other things he has started doing in the last month or two are: clap, give high fives, and dance (bounce to the beat) when music is being played. He loves our baby einstein book that has music buttons. Boy does he gets his groove on when we read that book.
