snow fall 2013

 It doesn't snow here much in south east Virginia. And when it does it melts by dinner time. So this morning the kids were bummed to find school was scheduled as normal. Not even a 2 hour delay.   We  played in the snow quickly before the bus came at 8:25am.  

 Peter learned how to make snowflakes last week in school. He taught us during craft time on Saturday. Marie loved making them. We decorated the kitchen window and their bedroom window with them. If Marie had it her way we would have decorated all our windows.
The week before Marie and Thomas made these marshmallow snowmen. 

 Thomas had to taste it. 

 The boys had a snow ball/chunk fight. It wasn't fluffy. It was an icy snow. 

 Marie thought this tree was pretty.
