Peter loves Joy School and learning his abc's and 123's. Here he is putting the letters in order. He did it all by himself. We are missing the letter H. Now I can leave all the letters out because Peter helps block Marie from knocking them all onto the ground. He is proud of his hard work and doesn't want it destroyed. He's now learning the sounds of the letters. He has few down good. We like the website http://www.starfall.com/ to reinforce the letters and their sounds. He's also learning the numbers 13-20. He has had 1-12 mastered for awhile. 13 14 and 15 really mix him up. 16-19 are easier because it's the number with teen added on.
Marie is also learning more very day. Her vocabulary is growing everyday. She has a few things to work on like: she calls all birds ducks and all mammals ruffs (as in the sound a dog makes). Peter had the same problem at this age, but to him all mammals were doggies. Marie can say all our names clearly. She calls Peter PT and herself Me. Marie loves songs with hand motions and is constantly starting a song for me to sing with her.
