On our 2nd day we went to Farm Days at a local dairy. Marie walked right up to this display and started milking the cow. She might not like real animals, but she loves pretend ones.
For two dollars they had this tractor train ride. Both Peter and Marie really wanted to do it. They had great time as they waited for the ride to begin. The tractor pulled them to the far end of the field and back twice. On the first return Marie had the biggest frown on her face. Then her eyes met mine and she began to cry. I asked if the ride could stop for me to get her out. The farmer had no problem doing that for me. Peter stayed on for the second trip. When he got out he said, "Mom, that was one bumpy ride!"
